I worked with Megan for several years while at Hulu and, most closely, while she was a leader on the Talent Development team. There is a lot that I like about working with Megan but what stands out the most is the level of ownership she brings to anything she does. I could always count on Megan to deliver and hold a high standard for her work. While I haven't had the chance to hire Megan as a consultant, I'm not surprised to see the feedback from those that have. When you hire a consultant, you need someone who is as dedicated to a successful outcome as you are because you are putting your credibility and budget on the line with your choice. I would have full confidence in Megan to deliver every time.

Megan is someone who truly cares about the workplace experience, the employee experience, and employee growth. While we were at Quibi together, Megan spearheaded and implemented programs that directly contributed to employees being proud to call themselves Quibs (even years later!). She led our employee orientations, helped plan events, thought of fun icebreakers, thought of engaging activities for All Hands meetings, and was always a face in HR/TAO that people were comfortable going to and happy to see. Megan also always made sure to gather feedback from employees after events and review it. Personally, I also appreciated how Megan presented me with responsibility and ownership opportunities, like analyzing and summarizing the feedback. All around, a great person who’s dedicated to the people around her and am very glad to have interacted with her for almost 2 years. And that I learned the term tl;dr from her! 10/10 rec :)

Megan understands how so many different types of teams run. She not only has the experience but she provides great strategies and goals to others looking to maximize the potential of their performances.

Created and facilitated orientations and trainings, designed our DEI roadmap, developed and executed internal communication strategy, and devised all-company team building challenges. As a result, team members connected, socialized, and strengthened relationships, and I helped cultivate a values-based culture. Go me! Awarded “Top Performer” in 2019 on Talent and Organization (HR), the only one for my department and reserved for the top 10% of performers throughout the company. Managed a team of Campaign Managers overseeing online video campaigns for Toyota, Apple, and Universal worth $200MM in ad revenue. Team engagement increased 23% over 12 months as my team grew from 5 to 16 direct reports. Built a 4-week new hire onboarding program with 60 training sessions, 15 assignments, and 20 meetings with key teams. My team of 5 successfully trained over 40 new hires as we continuously assessed and evolved onboarding strategy and execution. Teamwork!

Planned strategic offsites, led programming for the annual sales conference, facilitated DiSC sessions, and designed a global sexual harassment training. These led to teams establishing goals and action plans and to team members communicating with and appreciating one another. Aww.

Supported account executives, led post-sales communication, collected assets and ensured they met specifications, and monitored campaign delivery. Thanks to my attention to detail, there were no major errors or make-goods on my campaigns. Whew!Beyond my responsibilities, I took the initiative to build our team’s onboarding program, creating material for and leading sessions and crafting wiki pages documenting team processes. In this time, I reduced onboarding time to 2 weeks and trained over 30 new hires, leading to my promotion to Program Manager, Talent Development. Not bad, right? Show less

As a founding member of the department, I established workflows and procedures, oversaw 30 employees as one of three Team Leads, provided email and phone support for self-serve advertisers, and reviewed ads for adherence to our guidelines. Consequently, sales grew as did our team. Things were looking up.

As one of the first hires for the department, I answered customer inquiries, reviewed abusive content, liaised between users and Engineers to document bug reports, and launched and led the Appeals team. My proven leadership led to higher responsibilities of training, reviewing team members’ work, and my promotion to Manager, Online Sales Operations. Look at me go.
