  I joined Pierce Atwood in October 2015 as government relations specialist, dividing my time between the firm's Augusta and Portland, Maine offices. I monitor and report on legislative activity pertaining to the GR groups clients, coordinate meetings and events and provide on-the-ground support at the Maine capitol to Pierce Atwood’s substantial government relations practice group. As part of our Governmental Affairs Team I work with our 2 lobbyists to follow bills that are crucial to the success of REALTORS and the real estate economy in Maine as well as those that could cause harm and be detrimental. Engaging our REALTOR members to become involved in the political process to ensure the growth and stability in the real estate market is a key component of making sure that members of the Legislature know what is going on in our state.Along with Government Affairs I implement Communication and PR efforts within the Association. Keeping members up to date with what is going on in the Legislature and the real estate market. Promoting our member benefits, implementing the Association's Public Relation efforts, website administration and media coordinator.

  As Secretary Summers spokeswoman I worked with the media on behalf of Secretary Summers and the Department of the Secretary of State (Including Motor Vehicles, Corporations, Elections and Commissions and Maine State Archives) answering questions or interviewing.
