Working with Megan was one of my most enjoyable periods at MB. She is a natural teacher and nurturer and working with her taught me almost everything I know about social, content & digital. Megan challenges you to become a better worker, to think creatively, to try new things and always think outside the box. She's truly passionate about the cause and her desire to improve the world is genuinely inspiring. I miss working with her and our daily funny chats but am grateful to count her as a mentor.

Megan is an exceptionally talented digital specialist and a valuable team member. Never shy of a challenge, Megan works tirelessly to get the best outcome for her clients. She is one of those special people who can straddle creativity and technical know-how at the same time to deliver outstanding results. While at CARE Australia, Megan led the online function out of the dark ages and into the 21st century. Among her many achievements, was her ability to demonstrate the value of investing in digital channels by executing a flawless acquisition strategy for organisation's website and fundraising challenge Wak In Her Shoes. And in 2014 Megan project managed the redevelopment of CARE's website. This was a major project for the organisation, with many complex elements, yet Megan managed the project from inception to delivery, achieving incredible results and a significant uplift in conversion and online donations. Megan is definitely the person you want by your side if you're planning to grow your digital presence and need a knowledgable and experienced helping hand.

Management of CARE digital products and strategy, including: - CARE websites: www.care.org.au, www.walkinhershoes.org.au, www.caregifts.org.au - Social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube - Email: strategy, creation, analysis - Strategy: driving traffic using SEO, SEM and data analysis - Digital team: management of up to four staff Highlights: I project managed CARE’s website redevelopment in 2014 on time and to budget, resulting in 100% increase in conversion rate and large increases in other key metrics. This included both the front end design and architecture, back end database integration, email system integration and digital strategy. I developed CARE’s fundraising email campaign that significantly increased online donations and is now an central part of their digital strategy. I also developed the digital side of CARE’s major digital fundraising event Walk In Her Shoes that raised over $1m a year. I acted as a digital advocate across the organisation - encouraging the Board, senior management and staff from country programs, finance, HR and IT to take advantage of the significant digital opportunities available to an organisation with CARE's reputation. The digital team grew to twice the size and became a major part of CARE's overall business plan.
