  At my college there is a current Pipeline program, this is to engage students with companies efficiently, to complete the program I will have volunteered a day each term and then in the summer a week. My role here requires: Shadowing an employee and seeing what an average working day is like. Partaking in analyzing a clients brief and coming up with solutions to ongoing jobs. Creating a smart formal presentation to give to clientele.   During my October half term, I was lucky enough to be selected to partake in the Girls Go Technical Program at the BMW Oxford Plant after being selected from hundreds of applications on a national level. During my week I worked traditional factory hours of 5:30- 3. Whilst I was there I had the experience to:  Work with complex factory standard machinery  Analyze manufacturing methods  Learn analytical thinking for the planning and production of new car models.   As part of my NCS course I volunteered at the Old Windsor Care Home for a little over two weeks. This particularly helped develop my social skills when in difficult scenarios- this care home gives specific aid for retirees with mental incapacities. My key roles where:  Creating an evening of entertainment for the residents within my team.  General conversing and helping aid residents with any issues.
