I had the opportunity to work with Megan on our fundraising events specifically our National Gala. I met with Megan to discuss how we could successfully market and promote our National Gala throughout social media. Megan always came to our meetings with knowledgeable insight and encouraged several different avenues that we could explore. For someone in Megan’s position, you want them to have new, creative, and innovative outlooks on marketing and communications. I am confident in saying that Megan always brought these kind of ideas to her work. It was a true pleasure working with her on our events and I would welcome working with her again. She is truly an asset to her team and puts in the work to give the best and most informed outcome on any task that comes her way.

I had the privilege of working with Megan for nearly two years in her role as Director of Marketing Communications. Though I’ve been in the fundraising and communications sphere for a while, I can say with complete confidence that I learned so much more from her. She was patient at all times and presented new concepts in a thoughtful and diligent way. In my role in managing individual giving streams, our paths were very intertwined. Our organization employs people all over the country so we were fully remote when Megan and I first joined staff. Her responsibilities were being developed at the time of her hire and she came in swinging with new and fresh ideas, ranging from innovative digital strategies to process development. During her tenure in this role, she made sure to hold space with all respective department leads and streamlined all our communications needs. She developed the first brand book for the organization and took us to newer and improved heights in everything she touched. It would be an absolute dream to work with her again and she would be an asset to any organization.
