Experience

    • Paralegal
      • Aug 2019 - Present

I work directly with Mark Lewis, a privacy and defamation lawyer, who famously worked with the phone hacking victims and is currently instructed by the Labour Party whistle blowers on Antisemitism, who are featured in Panorama and also Rachel Riley and her defamation cases arising from Twitter. With Mark working remotely from Israel, I am the individual in the UK who will prepare bundles, format and sends letters, attends court for hearings before a Master, conferences with counsel and attending trials of preliminary issues. Alongside this, I have the opportunity to work with other fee-earners in the office aiding in litigation matters preparing witness statements, conveyancing and matters involving trusts, meaning I get varied experience in many sectors of law. It was a great experience to attend the Insight Scheme with Hill Dickinson in London and to learn more about their specialities and the culture of their offices. I was particularly interested in their Health law focussed Training Contract which has always been a passion of mine and to learn more of the different areas of Medical Law that are constantly developing, particularly in these current times of the Coronavirus pandemic.
