  I am a senior associate in the tax department at ENSafrica. I advise on all direct and indirect South African taxes and specialise in corporate tax, including local and international corporate structuring and corporate funding arrangements, employee share incentive schemes and tax dispute resolution.I have acted for clients in a number of industries, including real estate, retail, banking and financial services.My experience includes drafting comprehensive tax and exchange control opinions in relation to various corporate restructures, mergers and acquisitions (including large scale offshore acquisitions), as well as corporate funding arrangements. I have advised numerous clients on the tax and exchange control implications of transactions involving crypto assets.In addition to the above, I have assisted with drafting and advised extensively on the tax and exchange control implications of both local and international employee share incentive schemes, and have regularly been involved in tax dispute resolution matters (including the preparation of all relevant correspondence, interactions with clients and SARS, negotiating settlements and preparing evidentiary bundles).I also have a personal interest in the establishment of and tax-related relief granted to public benefit organisations, and presently administer the ENS Pro Bono Trust.I am currently responsible for the administration and presentation of tax training to candidate legal practitioners and junior associates within the tax department, as well as the collation and submission of the firm's comments on draft tax-related legislation.I completed my LLM (Professional Master's in Tax Law) at the University of Cape Town.
