      On call for homicides which requires the following; responding to homicide scenes, presenting to the Grand Jury, preparing discovery, making and responding to pre-trial motions, conducting hearings and jury trials. Tried Onondaga County’s only known triple homicide. Currently assigned to the Special Victims Unit. In charge of prosecuting cybercrimes such as the possession and promotion of Child Pornography, as well as Domestic Violence cases involving handguns and the sexual assault of particularly vulnerable victims, including predatory sexual assaults and individuals with limited intellectual capabilities. Appeared in the Integrated Domestic Violence Court and collaborated with the County Attorney’s Office as well as Family Court Attorneys to reach dispositions that promote victim safety and defendant accountability. Gave Risk Presentations about Cyber Safety to local middle and high schools. Previously assigned to the Narcotics Unit. Won a jury trial with co-defendants. Won a jury trial under the new Safe Act Laws. Handled Onondaga County’s first Extreme Risk Protection Order and developed an interoffice guide for those applications.
