Delivered instruction in large groups of over 30 students, small groups, and one on one settings in a variety of technical and content-specific subjects. Redesigned curriculum and materials for transition from in person learning to virtual learning in a 2 month time period. Created new instructional material for multiple subjects on a daily cadence to meet the new needs of students, correlating in a student pass rate of 100%. In response to Covid-19, worked with 40 teachers and administrators across 20 schools throughout the district to quickly prepare a digital curriculum that included prepared lesson plans, pacing guides, and e-learning tools. Regularly coordinated with team members to finalize the curriculum within a month and resume instruction for 15,000 students. Co-led a district-wide initiative to address the social and emotional well-being of our school’s 1,000 students. Conducted qualitative and quantitative research among all 45 K-5th grade teachers to identify unmet needs among students.

Collaborated with the District’s Instructional Coach to leverage my 6 years of experience as an educator to act as a resource for instructors. As a mentor figure, guided instructors in testing new tools and employing best practices in order for them to improve their own instruction. Created training material including multimedia elements for district implementation of the Pear Deck software, a Google add-on that creates interactive slides. The material was distributed to 700+ teachers in order to help teachers improve student engagement and participation.
