In May 2015, I started working as the Collection Box Coordinator and during this time by role has moved from the Community Team to sit within the Corporate Team, which overtime has made my job title change slightly to Corporate Relations Officer.My day to day duties include:• Overseeing the entire collection box module which includes; making sure all new collection boxes are sent out in a timely manner, exploring and proposing new opportunities to grow cash income through the collection boxes, including how sites could be expanded or the contribution of volunteers improved.• Oversee and managing all of the Collection Box Agent volunteers, making sure they are following the agent rules and regulations, contacting them as when is needed.• Inputting all of the monies recorded on the reconciliation forms sent in monthly by the Collection Box Agents.• Thanking the supporters who hold collection boxes, in a timely manner from receiving the paperwork.• Assist the Head of Corporate Relations in expanding AAKSS's portfolio by supporting the development of pitches to relevant organisations with regarding to being selected as their Charity of the Year / Chosen Charity.• Manage and coordinate the delivery of corporate fundraising activities, working flexibly with others to ensure that all tasks are undertaken to a high standard and that broader teams support delivery.• Support delivery of AAKSS corporate stewardship and fundraising events, for example, the annual Golf Day.• To record and maintain accurate updates on Corporate supporters within the Charities database system, Donorflex.• Provide support to organisations with the appropriate documents and materials to help maximise the income or staff fundraising. Log and arrange disposal of any gifts in kind from corporate organisations to ensure maximum benefits to the charity. Show less

Gift Aid is an extremely important fundraising income stream and within this role I had the responsibility for overseeing all of the administrative aspects of gift aid entry, verification and checking of contact records. To do this role I needed to have an extremely high attention to details and the ability to spot errors in large data sets. My role as the Gift Aid assistant sat within the Lottery team which I also helped to support with day to day administration.The day to day duties were:• Support the archive and audit requirements of the department, by coordinating the scanning and archiving of all Gift Aid processed at the trust and facilitate the retrieval of documents as and when required.• To maintain digital records of all new / amended Gift Aid materials and to approve copy on all new forms to ensure these comply with current legislation.• Cross checking paper records with Gift Aid declarations on Donorflex identifying errors and logging these appropriately.• Consolidation of Gift Aid scans from multiple sources into a central Gift Aid database on the computer system, whilst making sure they were correctly recorded on Donorflex.
