  I am responsible for the management of the community services for the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, this includes managing the Bridgetown Regional Library and the Bridgetown Leisure Centre. I am also responsible for community development activities including the coordination of community engagement and consultation, arts and culture, and sport and recreation. I fulfill a key role in projects associated with community development, youth, seniors, disability services, recreation services, library services, cultural inclusion, culture, and the arts, and grant matters on behalf of the Shire. I am responsible for managing grant applications/funding bodies for major capital works projects for the Shire and continue to administer, report and acquit successful applications. I provide information to the Executive Leadership Team and Council on community facilities, recreation, art and culture, and community development issues and trends. I liaise with, and manage, a large and varied group of external and internal stakeholders on a variety of projects and initiatives covering community development, recreation, art and culture, community services, and major capital works projects. My involvement in major capital works projects includes managing community consultations, concept and detailed design, scoping, procurement, and project management. I am currently project managing the construction of the Greenbushes Youth Precinct which will be delivered within budget and within the agreed timeframe. Show less
