As part of United By Blue's Cleanup Team, I executed the company's mission to "remove one pound of trash from our world's oceans and waterways for every product purchased." I organized all the logistics and managed budgets for our high-yield cleanups. This included identifying cleanup sites, organizing all components to run a cleanup - work crews, machinery & equipment needed, partner involvement, volunteer coordination, etc. - and running the execution of the cleanups. These cleanups averaged over 100,000 lbs per project and took place throughout the United States.Achievements:- Collectively removed over 1.5 million lbs of trash in less than 1 year- Led and managed UBB's largest cleanup to date, removing 755,140 lbs in one cleanup- Stayed under budget on all cleanups I've organized and led- Successfully brought together partners from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to conduct cleanups Show less
