I worked with Megan as a PR/communications partner at DEVCOM in 2021-22. Megan was my main point of contact and she was awesome. She was very good at onboarding me, so I got a rapid feel for the various projects she had going on at DEVCOM. That was a big help as I was able to hit the ground running. She also kept me informed regarding upcoming projects and deadlines. Again, this was very important as we seemed to usually be ahead of things as new projects would come up. Megan is an excellent editor and would always have good comments/feedback on the newsletter and blog pieces that I created for DEVCOM. She was also very pleasant and friendly, which helped created a fun and rewarding work culture.

Megan is a bright and creative communications professional, with a passion for her work. Over the course of our professional relationship, Megan helped me with executing engaging and strategic communications campaigns for our HR needs. This involved developing and creating social media posts and strategies for various platforms, developing, reviewing, and editing content for brochures, websites, and briefings, and capturing photos, videos and developing content and articles from our participation at events. Megan is a true professional with a sweet and pleasant personality, making her an asset to any organization. I truly recommend Megan for all your communications, PR, and public affairs needs.

Worked on public relations for CCBC—brainstormed ideas event to promote cultural diversity on campus, planning and advertising multiple events, securing and organizing areas, equipment, personnel, etc. With assistance from my mentor, I was very successful in creating a positive experience for the students and faculty. I was also the first student to be mentored within the CCBC Media Relations office in the CCBC Mass Communication program.
