  National Album Day is the new music promotion in assoc with ERA and the BPI celebrating the art of the album. Megan was responsible for launching the first National Album Day in the UK alongside the team at the BPI Role included: - Creating and executing a national marketing campaign to stimulate and sustain album sales- Devising campaign strategies across retail including hundreds of physical stores (HMV, Fopp and indies) as well as working with DSPs (Apple, Deezer, Amazon + more) to promote Album Day across their channels - Liaising with artists and labels - 2018 artist ambassadors included Alice Cooper, Jess Glynne, Novelist, Paloma Faith, Orbital and Matt Berry. - Working with the core team to devise and implement the national PR and social media strategy as well as working closely with the BBC Music team to coordinate programming across TV and radio.

• PR & Marketing Manager - Record Store Day

  The UK iteration of Record Store Day is widely regarded as the most successful new music promotion in the UK for at least two decades. It has been the catalyst for a revival of the independent retail sector and the key driver of the renewed interest in vinyl. Megan is responsible for all label, artist and retail liaison as well as devising the national PR, media and social strategy throughout the year. Her success in these roles at aged 25 has led to her being shortlisted for FSB’s Young Business Person of the Year at 2016’s London Business Awards, Winner of Young Achiever of the Year at the Best Practise 2018 Awards, featured in Music Week as a ‘Rising Star’ and being enrolled into the Women In Music 2018 Roll of Honour.
