    • New Business Intake Coordinator
      • Jan 2016 - Nov 2016

As the firm's New Business Intake Coordinator, I was responsible for creating new client and matter numbers, entering contact and billing information from all new business requests into the firm's conflicts/billing database, as well as running credit checks on new corporate clients. I conducted conflict searches on companies, nonprofits, government entities and individuals to identify potential legal conflicts of interest for any new firm representations, marketing efforts, attorney board positions, lateral candidates and more, as requested. I successfully and efficiently navigated the firm's billing/conflicts database, commercial family tree database, government registries, internet registries, and other public databases. I analyzed and interpreted conflict check results, synthesized the results into summaries of relevant information, and disseminated said information to relevant attorneys, advising the Director of New Business Intake of any potential conflicts. An integral part of my time in this position was spent processing new business requests by reviewing billing information, acquiring and attaching engagement letters, posting new matters to the internal daily conflicts email, and entering parties into the conflicts database.

During my time at BDT, I had been a part of a brand new campaign that completed over 1,500 applications in as little as four months. I can proudly report incredible accuracy and efficiency concerning both screening clients and profile completion, as well as regularly attaining the highest accuracy ratings for both submitting and logging, within the campaign. During my time as a benefits outreach specialist, I routinely showed exceptional efficiency during outbound and inbound calls and was recognized as one of two training assistants for the South Carolina/Colorado campaign. My keen attention to detail and patience for data entry work shined when submitting applications and logging client documents.
