      • Jun 2011 - Aug 2015

As a cashier at Circle K I am required to operate a cash register while also interacting with customers and up-selling products to each customer. I also am required to complete a grocery order once a week, submit daily fuel surveys, and change the fuel prices to stay updated. As a senior cashier I also train new hires to use the cash registers, policies, and stocking the store and coolers.

    • Assistant Director
      • Aug 2008 - Jun 2011

As an assistant director for Portsmouth Area Children's Theatre (PACT), I conducted the auditions and facilitated all rehearsals. I would also work individually with children to help develop their acting, dancing, singing, & blocking skills. I developed choreography for solo or duet songs in the plays and assisted the director in blocking and choreographing group numbers. Advertisement and ordering costumes and props were also parts of my daily duties for the theatre. Through my time with PACT, I not only became practiced in networking and developing relationships with vendors, community members, and benefactors, but I was also able to work with children ranging from ages 6-17 and develop my pedagogy of teaching from my time spent teaching them about theatre and their roles in the particular play and facilitating their development in the theatre.
