Summer research intern that completed an individual research project using data and software technology to create a human musculoskeletal model. Over the course of 10 weeks working in the biomechanics lab, a musculoskeletal model was created using the OpenSim software along with model editing, markers placed on bony landmarks, and proper scaling tools. Coding, pipelines, manual scaling, Nexus Vicon 3D motion capture, Visual3D, and other data processing skills/software were used to successfully analyze the biomechanics of 6 musculoskeletal models. Inverse kinematics, inverse dynamics, forward dynamics, static optimization, computerized muscle control, and residual reduction algorithms were all used to analyze joint angels, ground reaction forces, and muscle activations of the lower extremity.
