As a writing consultant at Highline Community College, I worked primarily with fellow students to improve the clarity and organization of their ideas in writing, as well as providing feedback on grammar and citation when necessary. Roughly forty percent of my job included: leading workshops, maintaining and inventing learning materials to incorporate in consulting sessions, assisting students in scheduling appointments, planning for and facilitating staff meetings, and mentoring new consultants.
