  As Brand Manager, I have been responsible for developing and implementing the Brand strategy for Bushtracks Africa. I was welcomed into the company as their first in-house visual marketing employee, allowing me to consolidate and develop the brand into what it is today. I manage the brand marketing across the three regions in which we operate; Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. My role is to ensure that our brand, culture, essence and uniqueness is clearly communicated, understood and consistent through brand engagement and promotional activities. I thoroughly enjoy my work with Bushtracks Africa and am grateful for all the opportunities it has afforded me.

  As the Project Coordinator of Lion Encounter (in association with African Impact) I was responsible for coordinating volunteer activities and project development on the lion conservation, research, photography and community development projects in Victoria Falls and surrounding rural areas. I ensured that all project activities ran smoothly, keeping volunteer and community relations at a successful level. I balanced my time between planning and participating in the activities, encouraging and supporting the volunteers, and reviewing how things are going. Further, I introduced fundraising initiatives and events, which also developed a good relationship between our company and the local community. This allowed for our image to be one of positivity and progress, whilst funding importantdevelopment and conservation projects.

  Studio Cambridge provides English language summer camps throughout the UK. I worked two 9-week periods over the summer of 2014 and 2015 as a residential English teacher. The role required the development and execution of lesson plans to students between the ages of 14 and 17 over the three month period. As well as administrative duties (registers & academic reports), and supervision of activities and excursions. The students were diverse in culture and age range, which created a more challenging and enjoyable work environment.

  As the Creative Co-ordinator I planned and co-ordinated educational art and development projects, activities and collaborative murals with the people of El Paredon village. I assisted with the management of the construction the new secondary school and library, assisting in the interaction, immersion and functionality of multiple international volunteer groups. During this time I further aided the initiation of the women empowerment ‘Bag Project’. My duties included managing and piloting the production and distribution of hand made artisan crafts, as well as nurturing and encouraging leadership roles within the group itself. Additionally, I assisted with the Los Hermanos de Hilo (bracelet club) and surf wax entrepreneurship program for the youth, as well as periodically teaching informal 1-1 English classes to local beginner level adults in the area.

The three-week programs focused on behavioural therapy using art as a catalyst for expression. Six thematic approaches were implemented for different behavioural disorders within the institution.
