Worked full-time as the Manager and lead Photography Stylist for Fossil Group. I was promoted from Women's Apparel into the photo studio to style for luxury brands and to art direct apparel on model photo shoots for web. After a few years in my new role I was then promoted to manage the styling team. We style within Fossil Group for several brands that Fossil Group has licensing with and or owns:Fossil, SKAGEN, Michele, Zodiac, MISFIT, Relic, Adidas, Michael Kors, Marc By Marc Jacobs, Diesel, DKNY, Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, BMW, Tori Burch, Kate Spade, Chaps, Sketchers, PUMA and the list continues to grow... Our team's responsibilities include networking with creative resources, syncing up with internal Creative Directors, Art Directors and Designers to create and design all sets and props for their creative platforms, in addition to styling on set. We work mostly with watches and leather goods (bags and small leather goods), as well as jewelry. Show less

I designed for Fossil Group's women's apparel line for nearly 6 years. My design categories included our top two selling categories fashion knits and sweaters. Additionally, I designed skirts and all cold weather accessories for both women and men. I was heavily involved with the seasonal palettes for the first few years with the line. My design responsibilities included overseeing the tech packs and fittings, fabric/yarn selections for each piece as well as sweater stitch and yarn selections for all cold weather accessories. As a Trend Analyst, my objective was to bring fashion forward information back to the company and host presentations to inspire and influence the designers, buyers, merchants, executives at the corporate office. I traveled seasonally to NYC and met with fashion forecasting companies to review current trends and decide which direction would be brand right for Penneys. These companies included, Here and There, Colorbox, and The Doneger Group to name a few. I spent time in the apparel districts of the city selecting fabrics and then shopped for samples to help support the presentations. I also attended print shows and bought art for textile design. Using the forecasted research and samples, I created several presentation boards to show color, fabrics, silhouette and themes for the season for womenswear and children's clothing. Before the digital hype, I would have the boards photographed in the photo studio and make trend books to handout. Other responsibilities included creating the seasonal palettes for 13 brands that made up womenswear and children's clothing. Awarded for "Managerial Excellence" by JC Penney Corporate in 2002.
