Megan Hughes is creative worker, with many ideas and a passion to progress them. Megan has a strong background in community engagement and sustainability education particularly in developing interesting ways of engaging with different community groups and volunteers. I have often asked for her opinion on ways of engaging with our stakeholders. Megan has a particular drive and passion for creating a sustainable organisation. I have worked closely with her to progress Clear Horizon's sustainability policies and activities and have been inspired by her ability to get things going. As with many organisations, our sustainability efforts are in addition to our current workload and Megan has really taken this in her stride. Megan’s work on Clear Horizon’s sustainability policy and activities has shown me that she thrives, working on jobs that she is passionate about. Megan is a conscientious and hard worker that embraces positive and negative feedback and uses it to improve what she does. She is loyal to her colleagues and approaches her work with consideration of fairness and equality. She has been a supportive team member and is not afraid to challenge concepts, processes and introduce new ways of thinking into the team.

Megan is a clear thinker with a strategic focus that is results driven. Some of Megan's strengths are her ability to think outside the square in order to achieve project objectives more comprehensively. Megan is also a great motivator of fellow staff, volunteers, partners and stakeholders, with extensive experience in engaging with various parties and fostering collaboration that value-adds effectively.

The overall program aimed to maintain and increase engagement with the community in bush regeneration projects in public reserves and provide general environmental education services to the community, such as on local flora and fauna and weeds and pest species. During this period I also managed related grant funded projects.
