  I started off as atemp working in the Medical Management department assisting with letters from the medical director. I was a part of the Right Start Program, in putting data required and sending out information to the patients. I was input patient stays, review notes from hospitals. I then became an employee working with members and providers assisting with benefits. Recently I have worked with providers only assiting with benefits and claim adjustments. We also work the correspondence received from providers- claim submissions, claim adjustment requests, office notes for denials on claims. Show less

  I was a case manager for pregnant and parenting teens. I assisted them with education, employment, housing, budgeting, day care. I was also there to educate on birth control. I did work with some teens who were high risk of become parents or pregnant. I had a case load of 30 but assisted other case managers. I was an advocate in family court. It was also my job to find them parenting classes, classes that would assist them in gaining independence and assistance I was not able to provide.
