As the Service Coordinator at Badin High School, I work to develop and strengthen our Service Program in order to raise our students' awareness of the social justice issues faced in our community. Our hope is to create meaningful service opportunities for our students with the intention of inspiring them to be disciples, to be aware of the needs of those who surround them, and to share their gifts for the betterment of our world. During my seven years in Campus Ministry at Xavier University, I worked through the Retreat Program, Small Faith-Sharing Groups, and Residence Hall Ministry, to encourage students to deepen their relationship with God and to share their story of faith. Students were invited, too, to put their faith into action, to make the connection between faith and justice in order to use their gifts to serve our world. Leadership development was also a key part of my role in Campus Ministry.
