Dr. Aijun Wang and Dr. Diana Farmer LabI’ve witnessed the future possibilities of placental stem cell therapy for Spina Bifida, a fetal birth defect causing lifelong paralysis. Grading and analyzing rats that were injected with stem cells from pre-surgery to week 8, allowed me to see the progression of the effective use of stem cells to reverse spinal cord damage.
