Since COVID-19 has reduced opportunities in my area for my particular skill-set, I have used these skills instead to: * Assist the transportation division of Richmond County School System - Receive routing calls from parents/guardians, teachers, and students regarding bus routes and drop-off/loading points in neighborhoods - Record concerns of parents/guardians of best busing practices - Assist parents/guardians in registering their children for the appropriate bus route * Fill in for a receptionist for Beazley Homes * Work for the Augusta Board of Elections during the presidential election and run-off as a poll worker - Assist lead poll worker in recording machine counts and other daily tasks - Ensure that machines are secured in the morning and the evening against fraudulent activity, removal of machine seals, etc. - Ensure voter registration information is current before releasing the voter to the polls - File advance voter information forms in precinct and alphabetical order - File absentee votes in precinct and alphabetical order, ensuring the envelopes are sealed and unspoiled - Follow recount procedures for in-person advance votes * Act as receptionist for AmbioPharm - Route phone calls to the appropriate parties - Ensure visitors to the plant have received safety training - Issue mag badges to appropriate visitors - Keep a record of non-employee mag badges and paper badges issued - Special projects as assigned/requested from various departments Show less
