  I ran a high volume frame shop and framing department for a Michael’s store. My duties include selling a high end custom product to our customers and the assembly of these orders. I order supplies in line with my needs and budget, I am part of the hiring process, I write the schedule, maintain inventory levels, visual merchandising, freight flow, and I am responsible for opening and closing the store. In years past I have also been the district trainer for custom framing. This duty saw me helping with the training of new frame shop managers, assistant managers, store managers and auditors. I would assist with various problems and equipment repairs in other shops as needed. I would also help with the set up of the shops in new stores. Show less
