My main role as an RA at Liberty was to make sure that every girl on my hall was taken care of in any way possible. Also, I was to enforce the rules of Liberty (The Liberty Way). Most importantly, as an RA I loved to see the girls on my hall know Christ and grow spiritually. That is my heart, and it was amazing to see it happen. Not only that, but I had a lot of other things that I did such as weekly RA meetings, weekly meetings with our core four (RA's and SLD's on our specific hall), coordinating events, etc. Communication was key in doing well in this position. I definitely learned through the process of trial and error as I had never led in such a position prior to RA at Liberty; however, it was a great year of ministry and growth (both personally and collectively). My role as an SLD was to primarily care for the prayer leaders (small group leaders) on our hall and to really focus on pouring into them spiritually. I was basically a "spiritual thermometer" for the hall because it was my job as well as my heart to look our for how each girl on the hall was doing spiritually. Not only that, but I had a lot of logistical roles as well such as prayer group attendance, weekly meetings, etc. I learned a lot through this job.
