  I decided to leave JLT and move into a claims role and felt Xchanging would be a great place to progress within this sector of the Insurance market. Xchanging provided alot of training including the examination & validation of insurance documentation. The role involved a combination of clerical work and moderately complex technical checking, where attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy was required. I was responsible for codifying data and keying in text/ numbers to the Lloyds claim system, ECF (Electronic Claims Files) for monthly claims bordereaux for various classes of business.

  My first job within the Insurance market was within Thistle Underwriting, a managing agent for JLT speciality at the time within the UK Commerical Property team. My daily duties included account handling for new business and renewals delivering a high-quality service to our clients. My main role within this company was preparing new business and renewal slips for brokers and managing the . I also was notified claims which I would prepare all the documentation and send onto our claims team.
