  I taught 6th grade for one year. I received my endorsement to teach grades 6-12 English Language Arts in the state of Kansas the following summer. I then moved into my current position where I teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts as well as English I. I am in charge of classroom management, creating and developing effective lessons, providing feedback and grades for students, reflection on my teaching practices, and maintaining my professional license. I am also a sponsor for several clubs (Junior High: Kansas Association for Youth; High School: National Honor Society and Kansas Association for Youth) as well as the head coach for the Hoxie High School Cheer Squad.
