I am the Co-founder and a Health Technologist at Inspired Ideas. I lead operations for our Elsa Health initiative, which is committed to affordable and accessible healthcare for all. We do this the best way we know how, by building technologies to augment the capacity and skills of decision makers (healthcare workers, governments, researchers, parents, guardians, and individuals) to support optimal decision making. Our current work focuses on disease identification algorithms, with a specific focus on pediatrics and infectious diseases. Additionally, I support with project management for our Mary.Africa initiative, which is dedicated to creating that future by investing in tools that connect African technologies to the world, empower humanity to create impactful change, and represent the diversity of the African continent. Overall, I support operations, partnership development, and monitoring and evaluation for Inspired Ideas as a whole.

The Young Founders Institute is shaping the next generation of founders by teaching high school and middle school students entrepreneurship and encouraging diversity of gender and ethnicity in the startup community. We believe in entrepreneurship as a mechanism to create economic opportunities for teens and their communities, giving them the ability to build a better world. The Young Founders Institute is currently an NC IDEA Ecosystem partner, with entrepreneurship programs throughout the Triangle area. My primary role is to increase the number of underrepresented, teen entrepreneurs who participate in our programs though foundation and government funding opportunities.
