Meg did a great job representing CARA in the community. She was liked and respected by all and was just as at ease with corporate partners as she was with beginning or elite runners. Meg would be an outstanding addition to any organization.

As a volunteer for the first Palos Bank Half Marathon I was at many of the meetings that Meg covered for The Regional. She is very focused and thorough about her facts. She took the time to be absolutly sure she was accurate. She was able not only to tell what happened at those meetings but why in many cases, we did the things we were doing. The to go the extra mile she made it all sound so interesting. The people who are served by the Regional Paper are very fortunate to have some one out there telling the great story of our little area in such a way that everyone wants to read what Meg Sullivan has to say.

In my role, I develop and implement activities, programs, and events focused on building alumni and student engagement and deepening loyalty to the university. I oversee all aspects of the Help Our Students Travel (HOST) program, from strategic planning to execution to creating optimal experiences for 4th-year medical students and alumni physicians. In my first two years in my position, I was able to increase the participation rate by 65% from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, I facilitate the end-to-end coordination of various events and activities, such as reunions and seminars. To maximize alumni attendance, I utilize a multi-channel approach to inform alumni about university programs and activities. I am also in charge of creating content for newsletters. Further, I coordinate virtual alumni presentations to proactively ensure continuous engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic. Show less

Having served as a Communications Manager, I developed and executed strategic communications campaigns. To increase brand awareness and market presence, I created marketing materials, newsletters, and press releases. I also led the planning and execution of complex projects and events that attracted a high number of customers. In charge of managing social media accounts, I wrote and published persuasive digital content, such as blog posts, photography, and video clips that communicated the brand’s value to the target audience. Boosting store traffic and customer engagement, as well as propelling sales growth, were some of the key achievements I am proud to have attained while in this role. Show less

I also supervised and mentored 11 site coordinators and 300+ pace group leaders. I have been instrumental in enhancing their skills and abilities. I have also been exposed to media relations and brand promotion efforts. I served as the media spokesperson representing the organization on the news to offer marathon training tips. In addition, I drafted weekly newsletters to give target customers consistent updates about the organization’s running programs. Show less
