Refugee Support and Integration Officer
-
Sep 2020 - Present
I manage a large caseload of refugees living in ACH's housing, with support ranging from benefits and finances, immigration, and education, amongst other issues. I work with the marketing and communications team by writing copy for the website and writing case studies for our social media. We are currently involved in a UK wide research project measuring community integration. This involves strong interpersonal skills, writing action plans and reports, providing data and evaluating practice.I also work closely with the housing team, ensuring the licensees are following the legal agreements, and taking in referrals for the housing. I also plan and run courses for those with refugee backgrounds.
