a. Experience in teaching ESL & Reading to grades 4-8. b. Planning lessons and following the timely sensitive curriculum in order to prepare the students for the state tests such as STAAR, TELPAS, and INTERIMS. c. Time-Management d. Disciplining students and teaching them the basic rules of APV which are Responsibility, Respectfulness, and Readiness. e. Communication with colleagues to create lesson plans that will help the grade level to reach the 80% mark on state tests. f. Maintain open communication with parents. m. Create and operate the school farm. n. Manage the (Gardening Skills) program on campus. o. Maintain care for the school garden along with the plants grown for crops. p. Assign TAs specific duties for small-group & underperforming students in the classroom. q.
