  • Maintained and installed wireless sensor networks across remote locations in the American River Basin. • Managed a six to sixteen person interdisciplinary research team on a series of twenty week long expeditions into remote locations of the Sierra Nevada Mountains; was responsible for equipment, morale, and fieldwork. • Sampled and analyzed soil transects, installed one meteorological tower, and installed four snow pillows. • Fabricated, calibrated, and installed over two hundred soil moisture, temperature/relative humidity, snow depth, and solar radiation sensors as parts of the wireless sensor networks across the American River Basin. • Conducted nineteen ecological site assessments, recorded the flora, topography, and geologic profiles. • Created site maps using ArcGIS.
