  The Chelsea Education Foundation has been involved in the community since 1990. It is completely operated by volunteers who are committed to enriching the educational environment of Chelsea. Fundraising is the core of what we do, and awarding grants to school faculty and scholarships to deserving students is the goal. Chelsea Education Foundation provides funding for a wide spectrum of educational activities to benefit the residents of Chelsea, Michigan. We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Friends and supporters organized CEF in 1990 to provide a link between school, business and community to help strengthen Chelsea's future. Contributions to CEF are given back to the Chelsea community through scholarships for area college students, grants to teachers and others with great ideas, and sponsorship of community forums on important topics. In the past year, we have invested more than $50,000 of our contributors' money in these worthy endeavors. Show less
