Bio
Mary C. Hermes
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Meagan as both a friend and a mentor in the field of pharmacy. She is a selfless and driven pharmacist that strives to put forth her best effort while also motivating and supporting her colleagues. Meagan helped develop a plethora of clinical services at Magruder Hospital, which remain active as an integral part of their workflow and care plan today. Her leadership and dedication during the process of clinical service development speaks volumes to her drive and passion for the field of pharmacy. She also embodies the characteristics of a lifelong learner. A trait of Meagan that inspires me most is her ability to drive for change. Meagan took a rather dated pharmacy services model and revamped it to a level comparable with much larger hospitals. Implemented changes include: clinical rounding with multi disciplinary teams, regular pharmacist-based interventions, follow-ups and consultations as well as helping oversee retail and ambulatory pharmacy services. On a personal level, I admire Meagan’s ability to give her all to both her career and her family. As a young Mom, that resonates with me. It is without any hesitation that I recommend adding Meagan to your pharmacy team. Her work ethic and consideration of others are truly unmatched.
