I have worked with Manir for almost 5 years in Dhaka Bank Limited’s (DBL) Core Banking Solution (CBS) up-gradation project. He just came in as Management Trainee Officer (MTO) when the project was starting but made himself invaluable with time. He managed the Loans & Advances module in CBS which is the bank’s core business. He illustrated deep understanding of the business not only from the technical aspect but also process dimension. This made him the ‘go-to’ guy for any loan related matters. He showed exceptional expertise in reconciliation by bringing down Loan related general ledger (GL) mismatches to 0. Moreover, he configured excise duty automation for loan products that enhanced reporting as well as regulatory compliance. Manir has a knack of delving deep into problems and that is one of the reasons he has become such a pillar of DBL within a short span of time. Working in Business IT has made him equally adept with technical skills and commercial knowledge. I am confident that he will be a great asset for any team. I wish him all the success for future!
