  Outline : Provide design services and specifications of cable according to the requirements and ensure all tests meet industry standards for ensuring the cable quality. Key Responsibilities : 1) Carry out laboratory tests of cable for instance High voltage test, Ageing test, Annealing test, Tensile test , Wrapping test, Conductor resistance test, Insulation resistant test, Hot set test for insulation and many other tests according to the standards (BS, IEC, BDS) 2) Collaborate with the Head of Department in training and giving opportunities to staff and operators. 3) Conduct training of the quality assurance staff in the test procedure and give technical guidance if required. 4) Troubleshoot errors and organize the testing procedures. 5) Calibrate lab equipment, Ensure quality and supervision of cable 6) Supervise test program execution to make sure the safety of the personnel and equipment and give technical guidance to staff when needed. 7) Assist when necessary in the development test programs by the test Staff and make sure all requirements stipulated in the Quote. 8) Collaborate with the production teams as well as the marketing teams to define DFA/DFM prerequisites and product concepts. 9) Design cable according to standards (BS, IEC, BDS) using AutoCAD and help operators for layout direction. 10) Collaborate with the production teams as well as the marketing teams to improve product performance and production processes.
