I worked with Towhid from Dec 2011 until January 2015. My role in the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) was to provide the staff with sufficient knowledge and opportunities for practical experience so that they could create and maintain their own internationally recognised accreditation body, conformant to the requirements of APLAC, ILAC, PAC and IAF. Towhid was one of the accreditation officers in the rank of Assistant Director. I qualified him as a Lead Assessor. I enjoyed my time with Towhid and I personally supervised some of his work in accreditation and related disciplines through the eighteen months I spent in Bangladesh over this three year period. Towhid is very smart and did not have the advantage of some of the other staff who had experience working in a lab or inspection body. Towhid is a capable accreditation staff officer and helped BAB attain international recognition in January 2015. I would enjoy working with him at any time in the future.
