  Working as a Network Manager for a Project implemented by IICT, BUET.From Nov 2002 to Feb 2004. Afterwards it is adopted by Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET).Project owner: BMET, 89/2 Kakrail, Dhaka-1000. The basic responsibilities were: 1. Hardware implementation and configuration for Client-Server database working environment. There were six DELL PowerEdge 2600 servers and 90 DELL Brand workstations to execute BMET Database Network system.2. Network (both LAN/WAN hardware) design, supervision of implementation and maintenance as a team leader of the technical team. There were CISCO 3725 Router, two Alcatel DDN Modems, V-Logic & Dasan brand SDSL Modem connectivity, CISCO 2900 series switches used at BMET Head office. Also CISCO 804 router and DDN Modem at Zia Airport BMET Kalyan Desk. Secondary responsibilities were1.BMET System study2.BMET head office and district offices survey for hardware installation and software development3.Installation and training regarding to use of the customized hardware and software at district offices as well as BMET Head office4.Power system wiring design and implementation supervisor for Server room, network room, workstation at various location5.Conduct the major portion of project documentation, distribution stock maintenance and purchase related works. etc. The objective of this project is to establish the country wide network and database to automate the manpower export oriented jobs. Develop a WEB based usages of Database as an overseas jobseeker’s Databank. The project was implemented for 21 districts and three International Airports.
