  I have worked in the department of land, water, and environment research at KICT, one of the best government research institutes in South Korea, under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Kwang Soo Kim.Recipient of "THE GRAND PRIZE" award for research work at KICT.Key responsibilities:ㅇ Synthesis of iron-based adsorbents to remove phosphate from wastewaterㅇ Performing adsorption-desorption experimentsㅇ Estimation of nutrients (spectrophotometer & ion chromatography)ㅇ Characterization of materials using analytical techniques (i.e., SEM, EDS, TEM, XRD, XPS, and Raman spectroscopy), data interpretation, and publishing research articlesㅇ Designed, optimized, and ran a continuous membrane reactor to adsorb and desorb phosphate from real wastewater simultaneously, with an aim to commercialize the technologyㅇ Contributed to upscaling and installing a bio-scrubber reactor packed with rice husk pellets as biofilter media for removal of odorous gases. It is functional in 3 industrial areas in South Korea.
