  After qualifying as a general cadre officer in 38th BCS I stated working as an assistant Traffic Superintendent at Bangladesh Railway. Railway is a very uniqe mode of transportation. After joining at Bangladesh Railway we were given 18 weeks long extensive departmental training on railway operation, railway engineering and it's commercial sides. After completing the training we were attached to different capacities for gaining practical knowledge that we were taught during the academic training.

During this time I took interest in suppy chain management. I also had to discharge some administrative duties. I used to work in the purchase section.
