I have lead the project that migrated old NIS services to a new authentication system combining MIT Kerberos and OpenLDAP and consolidated many e-mail systems using a combination of various daemons around Postfix, Dovecot and SpamAssassin. I have deployed a cluster of virtual machines using CentOS Linux, KVM and Ganeti. The day-to-day activities mostly involved monitoring and troubleshooting the wired and wireless networks and supporting professors and labs with their needs. The automation of repetitive tasks were done using Python and Shell Script.
