I have deployed a cluster of virtual machines using CentOS Linux, KVM and Ganeti. The day-to-day activities mostly involved monitoring and troubleshooting the wired and wireless networks and supporting professors and labs with their needs. The automation of repetitive tasks were done using Python and Shell Script. I have founded an work group with SysAdmins of all Institutes of the University to help one another, to share knowledge and experience. Show less

In Structured Programming I have seen the frustration of the students dealing with C, so I have decided to use Python on Concurrent Programming. Most of the students never heard of Python, but I was confident that the simplicity of the language would not be a barrier and could facilitate the understanding of the concepts. By the end of the discipline the students have successfully developed a multi-thread client/server chat room project, with its own protocol. Show less
