I loved working with Pat, he was efficient and straight to the point and really got stuff done! He has a great sense of humour and could bring light and laughter to stressful and busy times. I always knew that if I asked Pat to do something, he would get it done. He cares deeply about people and was very loyal to those he worked with, always making sure they were well looked after, whilst also being mindful of the business reality. I really hope that I get the opportunity to work with Pat again.

Pat joined Creative Jar as a midweight Project Manager but showed early on that he has the aptitude, tenacity, personality and skills to quickly move upwards and onwards. His presence around the studio was unmistakable leading to him gaining a healthy respect from both colleagues and clients. Quietly, he got things done, didn't ever have to be asked twice and could be relied upon to use the resources available to him to deliver against expectations - including the Irish charm! He took on projects with challenges for Creative Jar, didn't ever seem hesitant because of them, and continued to remain positive and successful. I would employ Pat again in a heartbeat and, wherever he calls home next, will be a better place for it.

Played a major role in the studios growth from its initial 20+ employees to to its current 100+, setting up robust development process (Agile etc.) and reporting. Repeatedly trusted as the lead producer on each of the studios major projects, most notable of these is our most successful and largest, in cost and development, Phantom: Covert Ops(P:CO). P:CO was released on multiple platforms requiring simultaneous development of two separate SKUs, one of which was unannounced hardware requiring additional effort in discovering its limitations and boundaries while deliver quality output. I have worked as a lead on projects with team sizes ranging from 45+ devs over a 2 year development cycle (P:CO) to a close knit 15+ dev team on as short a turnaround at 4 months(Shooty Fruity and an unannounced title). I have worked closely with biz dev on pitching, costing, contracting and roadmapping new projects which have been successfully signed by multinational mass media and entertainment companies. Directly managed and mentored other members of the production team, setting up reporting structures across multiple projects. I have seen 3 projects from concept to final release including the initial risk assessment, roadmapping and project plan costing and dealt heavily with Finance, Recruitment and HR practices over the last 5 years.

Made an immediate impact at Creative Jar(CJ) with being handed one of their largest and most complex client relationships after proving myself to the senior management team with my tenacity, ability to learn quickly and to foster a strong relationship with my clients. My primary client was their largest to date, fiscally in revenue and in development req. During my time there I also worked with several international teams who had to work in tandem with the inhouse development team. Simultaneously maintained multiple projects and clients at different development stages and differing dependencies, some with incredibly short turnaround times and continually shifting priorities. Towards the end of my time at CJ I began instructing the agency on how they could adapt aspects of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. Before finally moving on to nDreams. This role required an that I learn on the go and pick up and learn a large number of new skills quickly.

Promoted from production assistant to assistant producer for my hard work and growth in responsibility as audio producer. Numerous other roles outside of the audio department, working with feature teams, community and marketing, localisation, UR, bug triage and Live ops. Organised and scheduled of over 1000+ hours of recorded and implemented dialogue with 120+ separate cast and recorded actors while developing a new context and content pipeline. This involved running two separate but interdependent teams in tandem with dependencies on outsourcers. Managed day to day vendor handling, scheduling and procurement of the audio budget. I learnt the procurement systems and have a good understanding of the financial principles behind them. I tracked and maintained the expenditure throughout the FY15 and tracked, maintained and forecast the entire yearly budget for FY16. Due to my success with Fable Legends I was asked to set up the schedule and structure of their recording and implementation pipeline for a then separate unannounced Fable project. Point of contact for our localization team based in America. I was responsible for the setting up of the localisation pipeline between our studio and the localisation studio. My work with community team dealt with the prioritising and content development of their social media platform, website development and marketing features for new Fable IPs as well as Fable Legends. Certified as a scrum master via the Scrum Alliance during my time at Lionhead. I ran several scrum teams that ranged from small teams to teams 10+ in size to feature completion and have become well experienced in bug triage, product ownership, running Live Ops and backlog refinement. Experience with representing Lionhead at international events such as China Joy in Shanghai and X-Fest in London.

While at Microsoft I worked on several different XBOX ONE titles including Killer Instinct, Zoo Tycoon, Forza Horizon 2 and finally Fable Legends. When working on Zoo Tycoon I took charge of the 4-person team and became the primary contact between the UK testers and the American developers. I helped to organise the UK team with any tasks passed on by the developers. I also prepared and prioritised the UK team based on the out of office time difference. I then moved onto Fable Legends and through my proactive hard work and enthusiasm in the QA department, I was able to prove my value to the development team at Lionhead. They then brought me on as a production assistant.

My original assignment was to film/edit/produce a proposed trailer for a TV series for Sky Sports.Once I had successfully finished my initial assignment in December I was kept on and started to work heavily with the marketing and media department due to my hard work and determination. Filmed, edited, produced and designed the majority of their digital media that went up on their website, social media sites and stadium big screen. Growing and developing the LI RFC brand online through strategic content and a greater quality of a social media presence. Gained invaluable experience in teamwork and diplomacy with managing and directing the players and staff and working closely with LI partners like PUMP. Managed my own content under their strict media guidelines and news release deadlines. Liaised on other marketing strategies and content development. Gained expert hands on experience with a multitude of equipment and software that needed to be learnt while on the job and under a time restraint.
