Among other responsibilities, Mr. McCoy was directly responsible for sales and marketing and played an instrumental role in all strategic decisions and initiatives of a $400.0 million independent operating company within IBP's processed foods group. Simultaneous with his responsibilities as Executive Vice President he served as President of Supreme Smoked Meats, an independent operating company producing super-premium food products for the retail and foodservice markets. Tyson Foods acquired IBP, INC. in 2001 and Mr. McCoy remained with Tyson until 2002.

Mr. McCoy was named Senior Vice-President of Finance, Administration and CFO after the predecessor company (ITC) was sold and merged into Corporate Brands Foods America, Inc. (“CBFA”). Mr. McCoy was instrumental in the growth of CBFA from approximately $200 million to a run rate approaching $1.0 billion through organic growth and the acquisition of four complementary companies. CBFA was sold to IBP, Inc. in February of 2000 and Mr. McCoy remained with IBP, Inc. following the transaction. IBP, Inc. was sold to Tyson in 2001.

Mr. McCoy served as Vice-President of Finance & Administration, CFO, and Chairman of the company’s first executive committee in the organic growth of International Trading Company ("ITC") from $60 million with 150 employees to more than $200 million and 1200 employees in less than five years. Simultaneous with his duties at ITC he served as General Manager of a related $38 million specialty food distribution company. ITC was sold to Corporate Brand Foods America ("CBFA") in June of 1997 and Mr. McCoy remained with CBFA following the transaction.
