  American Collegiate Marketing is a magazine subscription agency that carries over 800 of the most popular national magazine titles, virtually everything you might see on a newsstand. Having gone from well over 100 employees over the years to approximately 40, my roles and responsibilities have expanded over time. American has always stayed at the forefront of technology, which has allowed us to stay aggressive in the highly competitive magazine subscription industry. My role includes all things technology. • Developing and managing the corporate technology budget • Responsible for all hardware – from mid-range systems (AS/400) to desktop PCs, from phones to servers, from websites to large-scale printers • All software and development • Internet, email and phone services • Mounds of marketing and financial data • Analysis and analytical tools • Administrative and call center ACD • System integrations • Project management • Operations • Staff - Each of my current staff members has over 24-plus years of experience at American! Member of the ACM Executive Steering Committee. As the business has changed, ecommerce has become my passion. I run our SEO program and am responsible for setup and maintenance of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, and monitoring software. Our SEO program currently accounts for 25 percent of our online traffic. I’m also heavily involved with SEM and other Marketing channels. We recently redeveloped our websites on a new platform.
