Promoted to serve as a senior staff member for College Communication and Athletic & Recreation programs, I set and implement strategic, comprehensive communication plans for 27 NCAA athletic programs involving over 600 students and control a $50,000 budget. Beyond administering the official department website and online store, I also curate messaging across all social media platforms; produce printed publications, web video streams, press releases, and feature stories; oversee approvals for logos, apparel, uniforms, and licensing agreements; orchestrate events; and manage and motivate a staff of up to seven professionals and 20 students.Highlights of my contributions include:★ Contributing to the successful planning and construction of the new $19M multipurpose Shadek Stadium, developing a communication plan driving fundraising for the project and supporting stakeholder relations during the process and also personally overseeing the design and construction of the press box, video board, scoreboard, and in-house video system.★ Spearheading a project to launch a new online athletics store and roll out a new licensing policy, improving revenue generation opportunities while reinforcing the brand and generating $10K annually.★ Directing multiple overhauls of the department’s website, which doubled monthly page views after three major reconstructions.★ Serving as Co-Chair of a committee developing a video streaming network, CentenialConference.TV, for an 11-member conference in 2018★ Creating, developing portions of, and overseeing the production of a 60-page Year End Report highlighting the success of students, staff, and programs.★ Improving internal and cross-departmental information sharing by implementing Front Rush office management software.
