  • Installed sprinkler irrigation system in Kalungu district. Two sites were to be installed that is Kyamulibwa and Busoga sites. Kyamulibwa had coffee plantations sitted on 15 acres and hydrants were used at the Busoga site the land was open which was first cleared and then sprinklers installed, tomatoes were to be grown on 2 acres. Solar panels were also installed for the pumping of water at the two sites. Both sites were funded by FAO. • Also installed solar panels in Buhweju for water pumping to a tea factory • Carried out a demonstration of sprinkler irrigation in Butambala district for small scale farmers.   • Worked on the mills by adding hot water about 75 degrees Celcius to dissolve the wax from the sugar and here the temperatures should not be more than 80% since the wax on the cane can be dissolved leaving more sugar juice in the bagasse. • Assembled the centrifugal pump under Mr Ben's supervision. • Cut out a plate for an electrical box where the plate was of thickness 2mm with 250cm, 600cm, 320cm as dimensions and made markings with chalk before writing it out. • Machined off the sharp ending using the sledgehammer after welding.
