The Grassroots Organizing and Policy Coordinator coordinates the implementation of PSR-LA’s Nuclear Threats program. The position supports the overall success of the organization by expanding the capacity of this critical program, specifically PSR-LA’s leadership in the national Back from the Brink (BftB) coalition and campaign. The Grassroots Organizing and Policy Coordinator will lead PSR-LA’s BftB’s efforts in Southern California to educate and mobilize health professionals and the public, engage key allies and partners, and build a vocal, active, community-focused nuclear disarmament constituency. This position may also periodically support other aspects of PSR-LA's Nuclear Threats Program, including national level-advocacy with BftB and regional advocacy to clean up the Santa Susana Field Laboratory.
