While I managed development for Time Warner Cable’s IPTV application on Samsung TV, Mayank was the lead software engineer on this team. Mayank possesses an incredible work ethic, and he pays attention to every detail. He will find the gaps in any specification and collaborate to fill the gaps. He’s not afraid to prototype features and chase a moving target. Once the application features are completely understood, he optimizes the solution for high performance. In the end, his work product is always great. Over time, we added more developers and QA Engineers to his team, and Mayank showed great leadership. It was easy to build the team around him. After Mayank finished our Samsung TV project, he went on to work for other TWC Development Managers, building IPTV applications for Mac / PC and set-top box web browsers. The team around Mayank continued growing, and he demonstrated his ability to lead larger software engineering teams. In my opinion, any software engineering organization will be very lucky to have Mayank working with them.

Mayank and I met at Time Warner Cable, and later at Charter Communications after the merger. Our interactions were between design (my side) and developers (his focus) for our set-top box navigator and our online video portal. He is very talented and knowledgeable, with good communication skills. Mayank has the ability to think ahead, and often pro-actively reached out to design for clarification or to work through edge cases in the requested design. He is a problem solver, that could easily bridge requests from product with the technical challenges from engineering. Mayank also did an excellent job of managing his and his team’s time despite many differing increments, sprints and release cycles from front end clients, services, and off-shore teams. And, while it’s not exciting, he can effectively navigate Jira, and the labyrinth of epics, stories and bugs. I really enjoyed working with Mayank, and highly recommend him, since he would be a positive asset for any team.

Hotel Superhero is a comprehensive hotel technology solution, launched by Treebo, the leading tech-enabled hospitality brand. Few years into running Treebo, we realised that the tech solutions we had built for our own use at Treebo were truly cutting edge and unparalleled in the industry. So we decided to externalise and monetise them as a SaaS business. As part of Hotel Superhero we offer an integrated, intuitive, and extremely powerful hotel management software which takes care of all technology needs of hotels. We offer property management system, central reservation system, point of sale, finance modules, channel manager, and a lot more as part of an all-in-one solution. Show less

Treebo is a chain of economy and mid-segment hotels offering everything you need for a comfortable stay, delivered with a smile.Gone are the days when opting for a budget hotel meant that you could never be sure about what you were getting into (quite literally!). Not to mention the times when you had to chase the hotel staff for everything big and small. Budget hotels often meant disappointing rooms and indifferent service. Not any more. With Treebo, you can book with confidence and get assured quality. Because what you see is what you get. Everytime. Everywhere. Show less
